126: RIP Glenn Roeder ft. John Moncur & Tony Carr

West Ham fans were rocked by the news of former manager Glenn Roeder's death on from a brain tumour on Sunday aged 65. Glenn managed the Hammers between 2001 and 2003 after initially being appointed as a coach by Harry Redknapp. The Irons finished seventh in his first season in charge but were unfortunately relegated during his second campaign during which he collapsed after a game against Middlesbrough - the first showing of the tumour. Glenn has been fondly remembered by people across the game and Will Pugh, Tom Edwards and James Jones are joined by John Moncur and Tony Carr who played under and worked alongside the Woodford born boss. The pair pay touching tributes to the mild-mannered Roeder. As well as remembering Roeder, the boys look back to the defeat at Man City game and Will and James go head to head over Vladimir Coufal's reaction to the loss. The lads make their Betway charity bet selections. Leeds fan Kieran Benn from The Sun dials in to give a detailed analysis of his team's visit to London Stadium on Monday night and once again the boys are split down the middle over whether Marcelo Bielsa is as good as people say he is. James is quizmaster for Name That Game. And before saying goodbye the boys look ahead to Chelsea's visit to the West Ham Women on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who listens and downloads every week.
