Colorism in society

Colorism is the prejudice or discrimination against someone based on the darkness of their skin. This is inherent within many communities and society itself. Both Ananya and I have experienced colorism and understand the struggles minorities can face with this issue. Although some might not consider it as "serious" as many other issues minorities face, it is important to talk about it, as it can perpetuate a lot of negative stereotypes and encourage insecurities. I hope you guys learn something from this episode, Enjoy! XO
