Media representation and stereotyping
As teenagers representation is important as it allows us to be able to see ourselves on many different platforms. It lets us know that our voices and stories matter and in turn further valorizes them. In this episode, Maraki and I talk about the importance of representation, cultural appreciation vs appropriation, self-representation, and the importance of educating ourselves on other people's stories.
