4 Napoleon's Real Waterloo

Sandi's here again to mine some gems from her room of books, and today shares some fascinating tales of forgotten women from history (as they almost always seem to have been), including Victorian artist Rosa Bonheur; who as a trouser wearing, cropped haired, smoker was something of a trailblazer. We find out that not only was Johann Wolfgang von Goethe a REALLY annoying child, but we also learn that if it hadn't been for his wife, Christiane Vulpius, he would have fallen foul of Napoleon's army in the most humiliating way...and they got past that, so We Will Get Past This.
