The January 6th commission issued subpoenas to five Republican Congressmembers including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in order to gain information about communications they had with the White House leading up to the riot, during it, and after. These are critically being issued before the committee begins its public hearings next month. Tomorrow is a nationwide day of action with Bans Off Our Bodies rallies. These demonstrations are meant to empower people to stand up for abortion access in a time when Roe v. Wade is poised to be overturned by the Supreme Court.
