Men (Over 40) Don’t Want a Feminine Woman… Once upon a time it was expected that the woman of the house would stay home with the children and her job was caring for the house and providing meals for her husband. That’s a classic example of ‘feminine energy,’ where the woman is dependent upon the man to care for her. While there are certainly still stay-at-home moms who happily choose that role, more often than not women are paving their own career paths and starting their own businesses. Modern men who are emotionally mature view their relationships as a partnership without traditional gender responsibilities. In short, men want women who are independent and capable of earning their own money. That’s not to say chivalry is dead; we’re just changing the ‘feminine energy’ stereotype.
