When a 7-year-old goes missing, the world should take notice. On May 3, 2002, it is believed that Alexis's stepdad, LaRon, walked her to school that day. But from there- no one quite knows. Alexis wasn't in class, and her mom didn't realize she was missing until she didn't come home from school. Alexis was a fun-loving, happy, first-grader who loved school. She had a perfect attendance record until that day. There were very few clues in and around her Milwaukee neighborhood to lead investigators to Alexis, or any theories on what happened.
