Yael & Matt Recap Halloween - Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum
After a rough go of it on the “found footage” front with (one of the movies called) “I See You” Yael and Matt recap one of their favorite movies of the month so far. Comedian and comic book creator Tim Vargulish (GoatMan and President Werewolf) recommended this Korean import and it did not disappoint. A group of film makers go to discover an abandoned mental hospital and open a famously closed door, and things go all sorts of wrong. They also go wrong in the middle of the recording when podcast mascot/saboteur Shelly the Puppy gets violently ill in the middle of it.
