S1 E11 Who shat on the floor at my wedding? 'Bad cop'

Feeling like she was too lenient on Henk in Episode 6, Detective Lauren Kilby decides it’s time for BAD COP to come out. The man who was in the ladies bathroom for 4 hours is dragged back into the interrogation chambers for a second grilling, and it’s not pretty. Having run out of other options, the team starts to explore the idea of torture as a means to get a confession. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Om Podcasten

Who Shat On The Floor At My Wedding? was a question shared by brides Helen McLaughlin and Karen Whitehouse after they tied the knot on 11 August, 2018 on a boat in Amsterdam. It was a question that launched a podcast, which led to the hiring of unqualified detective Lauren Kilby, the purchase of a €99 lie detector, and the bothering of some of the world’s best forensic experts - all in an attempt to find out “poo dunnit”. For season 2, the investigative trio is back with a brand new mystery set in Sweden (Scandi Noir if you will) called The Case Of The Tiny Suit/Case. They now live by the phrase “when the cops say no, we say yes”. This season explores a serial act of reverse theft: a tiny three piece corduroy suit and a suitcase containing threatening items were planted on the victim’s veranda in the middle of nowhere. Our forensic experts are also back on board, not because they want to be, but because we asked really really nicely, (and Karen can be unnervingly persuasive). Hosted on Acast.
