Amy J. Wilson: Empathy for Change
Amy J. Wilson highlights within this episode of the "Whole Health Series" a transformative definition of empathy for today's leaders; makes the distinction between being empathetic, an empath, and a highly sensitive person; and emphasizes the importance of leading with empathy, self-awareness, and whole health self-care to co-create the future we all need and desire. In her debut book, Empathy for Change, Amy inspires readers to embrace kindness to enrich the world. Her book became a best-seller even before it officially launched! I absolutely love it and highly recommend it. Amy masterfully weaves together analysis of challenges and transitions our society, economy, and earth are experiencing at a high level and she deep dives into the very personal level of how each leader today needs to care for her/him/their self in order to have the capacity to lead with compassion, kindness, and empathy. Amy courageously shares personal stories and examples of other change agents who exemplify the leadership our world needs. Amy J.
