Discovering Your Strength: Ruth Madeley and Nike Trainer Naomi Hefferman

This week on Why I…Move we have BAFTA-nominated actor, Ruth Madeley joining us on the show to chat with our host Liv Little. Ruth Madeley recently graced our screens in the latest Doctor Who series, portraying lead roles in acclaimed shows such as Years and Years and The Rook. As someone who was born with spina bifida she’s also especially passionate about championing more visibility for disabled actors, both on and off screen. For this episode, Liv and Ruth explore what it means to move through the world and how that can look different according to ability.  The pair are also joined by Nike Trainer Naomi Hefferman, who talks about growing up with athlete parents, finding her own rhythm as a trainer and exploring the world of esoteric dance.
