How to Master Work-Life Balance According to Jack Welch & Sara Blakely (Plus, Questions on Travel & Med School)

Work-life balance is a huge issue for many people, especially since women now have to work full-time when they used to be expected to be stay-at-home mothers — and because American culture has a philosophy of “the harder you work, the more successful you’ll be.”
This podcast episode breaks down some insights I took from the world’s most successful people on work-life balance. To tease some of the tips, you should be setting priorities and sticking to them, planning, and realizing it’s okay if you’re not perfect with juggling everything.
As a bonus, I address questions young people have asked me, including how to travel more, and how to get into med school. All these questions are answered by starting with asking yourself why you want these goals and if that’s the best way to get there.

Behind the scenes of our Holiday card. 🤪 Getting 4 kids under 9 in fancy clothes to smile at the SAME time is no joke. 😳 It always looks perfect in the picture but behind the picture…total chaos! We bribed them with treats and ice cream, dangled stuffed animals and made funny faces. Charlie kept scaling the walls, Tepper kept dropping her crown, Lincoln is pouting and Lazer is orchestrating imaginary sword fIghts… until snap!! for one fleeting moment we get “perfect.” I don‘t know about you, but I‘ll take chaos over perfect any day. And now….off to get ice cream!! #MomLife #HolidayCard #HappyHolidays #HappyNewYear #PhotoShoot #PleaseSmile #HelpMe
