Social Learning: Innovative WOC Nursing Education

In this episode of WOCTalk, we’re joined by Ashlee Garcia, Chair of the WOCN® Society’s Education Committee, and Tara Beuscher, WOCN Accredited Provider Program Director, to discuss the role of the Education Committee and an exciting new WOC education initiative—Social Learning. Social Learning takes education beyond traditional methods by fostering peer-to-peer learning through the WOCN online community. Ashlee and Tara explain how members can engage in structured discussions, apply best practices, and earn free continuing education credits—all in just a few minutes per week. Learn how this innovative approach makes learning more interactive, flexible, and accessible, and how you can participate in upcoming Social Learning discussions. Editing and post-production work for this episode was provided by The Podcast Consultant.
