Allie Sobool: Radical rest and listening to our body’s wisdom

Episode 36 with Allie Sobool. "We are all or nothing. It's always one extreme or the other. I have a hard time being OK with being in the middle." Allie is a massage therapist, reiki healer, and SIT (Subconscious Imprinting Technique) practitioner.  Her virtual wellness business, Mortar and Mystery, was created to empower rebellious women who are ready to cut through the bullshit, connect to their life and their self as deeply and authentically as possible, and become their own revolution.  She is also the host of the fantastic podcast, Neurodivergent Dreamers, which is how I discovered her and reached out to her for this interview. We talk about the importance of rest and relaxation for our bodies, but how difficult those can be for those of us with hyperactive brains. Allis also explains to me the magic behind subconscious imprinting technique and reiki, as well as the different types of stress responses and stress cycles and how they become stored in our bodies. And we also talk about how women with ADHD can improve their body image and intuitive eating as women with ADHD. Enjoy!
