WHU 102: Women Ruling The Workplace.

We are a team of 9 women. Is this an estrogen party or a PMS-landslide? Today I’m letting you in on our culture. Hormonal women in the workplace can be a beautiful symphony of passing the follicular and luteal phase baton, empathetic listening and support and a culture of vulnerability. Or it can be a “group of bitchy women”, an environment that “needs some guys” and a drain on each individual woman’s sparkle. Culture matters to me, and at my workplace we strive to support women to reach their full potential. I share our secrets, how we lean into vulnerability and how I’ve evolved to embrace feminine leadership. In the episode I share how we Work to create deadlines that flow with how our women are feeling and what their needs are.  Created space for women to share how they are feeling to created a culture of support.  Created a culture of self care and personal growth.  Created a mother-safe workspace for our women to continue to prioritize their families.  How we prioritize burnout prevention. I love my team. They are a wonderful group of women who are changing the culture of the womanly-workplace.

Welcome to Real Integrative Medicine, where we break down the barriers between evidence and integrative practice. Hosted by Dr. Jordan Robertson, ND, our mission is to empower both patients and clinicians to make confident, evidence-informed decisions with integrative medicine. What's real? What does evidence mean? How should research change our day-to-day health choices? The show will cover the intersection between health, habit change and mindset to help you make confident and science-backed decisions in your health care. The podcast is the sister to our Youtube channel, Real Integrative Medicine, which is geared towards practitioners who want to make evidence-informed recommendations for their patients, without having to dig into the research themselves.
