WHU 108: Parenting Hacks. How to only feel like you’re losing it part of the time.

What’s parenting like as a career-driven-entrepreneurial-fitness-loving-independent woman? I’ll tell you, as soon as I finish cutting up this cantaloupe.  In this week’s solo episode, I share my tried and true strategies for getting life done, getting the small people (aged 12 and 10) out the door with two socks (who gives if they don’t match) and a semi-health lunch for all of us.  I find that so many parents put their kids way further up on the priority list than their own health, and I want to change the narrative that it has to be either them or you that gets what they need.  Enjoy the episode. It’s a raw and real discussion about how hard this all really is.

Welcome to Real Integrative Medicine, where we break down the barriers between evidence and integrative practice. Hosted by Dr. Jordan Robertson, ND, our mission is to empower both patients and clinicians to make confident, evidence-informed decisions with integrative medicine. What's real? What does evidence mean? How should research change our day-to-day health choices? The show will cover the intersection between health, habit change and mindset to help you make confident and science-backed decisions in your health care. The podcast is the sister to our Youtube channel, Real Integrative Medicine, which is geared towards practitioners who want to make evidence-informed recommendations for their patients, without having to dig into the research themselves.
