Tina Tchen on Advancing Opportunity for Women and Girls

Tina Tchen heads law firm Buckley Chandler’s Chicago Office, where she is a Partner and leader of their Workplace Cultural Compliance Practice. They counsel companies on issues related to gender inequity, sexual harassment, and lack of diversity in the workplace. On the public side, Tina served as an Assistant to President Obama, Executive Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, and Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama. She worked on Title IX initiatives, and was instrumental in the formation of the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault. In her time since she left the White House, she has been a major force at the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund, which provides legal support to women and men who have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace.
