This was a question that Beck Lacouture asked herself when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in her twenties and was looking for answers. Fortunately, after Lacouture made it through her cancer diagnosis, she and her business partner Greg Altman set out to start a green chemistry company that reinvents silk in liquid form to replace harmful ingredients in skincare and textile products.
