China makes its move

While the world watches Donald Trump chasing peace in Ukraine, China has used its biggest political event of the year to appeal to US allies. Its foreign minister says countries do not have to be subject to the “law of the jungle” - a thinly veiled reference to the US president’s disruptive foreign policy.
