How to Strategically Receive, Utilize, and Handle Feedback from Your Team

If you're a boss it may take some time to get used to the fact that people aren't as willing to share feedback with you. People will take time to trust you and learn that they can give you feedback without the risk of losing their job, being looked over for a promotion, or any number of other things they may have feared at a previous job.If your team is reluctant to give feedback it may be because of a lack of trust, confidence, or opportunities for them to share. If you're doing regular 1:1s, team meetings, employee happiness surveys, and debriefs after each project or deliverable, you're right on track! Don't lose hope if it takes a while to get better feedback, your persistence and willingness to listen to (and accept!) feedback will make all of the difference.Listen to Similar Episodes:Employee Retention - Five Tips to Retain Top EmployeesChoosing a Co-Founder - Advice from Chris HarderGoal Setting to Help Your Team Succeed with Kate Erickson* Connect with me on IG @jackie.koch_* Find more information on my website www.jackiekoch.com
