Sam the Barber is from Kosovo, former Yugoslovia. He and his siblings became refugees and they split up all over the globe in search of a new start. Sam came to the US to make a new life for himself, and he did that by becoming a barber! I had no idea what the difference between a hair stylist and a barber was, much less what is required of the two. Learning about different people and their backgrounds is so rewarding.
