Overall, The Mist was not as big of a critical hit or fan favorite as some might have expected it to be, but it did quite well at the box office, and fans of it are still very much enthused with it. For those who didn’t like it originally, a re-watch may be in order, perhaps in black and white, to see it with new eyes and a new angle, given the changes that have happened in the world since 2007.
