The Phantasm films have had a rough go of it over the years. Never properly getting the respect it deserves, it may pain you to find out that we were close to getting a new Phantasm entry from an Oscar Winner. Not only that, but even Bruce Campbell was bandied about for a role! We'll get into all of this and more as we dive into the unmade movie featuring the Tall Man, Roger Avary's Phantasm 1999.
