210 - When It's Everything You Don't Want

We're all gonna experience things in life that are difficult and sludgy--things that we maybe wouldn't have chosen for ourselves. And while it's important for us to feel and experience what we feel, we also have choices as to how we frame things, where we put our attention. Because if we pause, if we shift our perspective a little, we can find things to love about even what is hard. Or aspects of the hard things that might also be gifts. Because there's always more than one thing happening at a time; there's always more than one true thing.A beautiful question posed by my sister during a conversation this morning is providing an anchor for me as I process some hard things.
