How We Agile: School Decisions About Reopening
For our area, the conversation was not "if" schools were reopening, it was "when?" so our discussion had to center about when we would we be comfortable sending the kids back to school.
Things to consider:
Comfort level - is everything contained enough in your area?
Economic questions - can you afford the limit to your productivity
Mental and emotional toll - parental burnout is real
You need to consider all of these factors, but remember, you may not be comfortable with all of the answers to these questions.
Once you've made your decision, you have to prepare your student for what they will be facing. Maybe it's a different timeline for school each day. Maybe it's daily temperature checks. Whatever it is, start getting your student ready now.
