Episode 1416: Distracted by Social Media

“Even when we think we’re seeking pleasure, we’re actually driven by the desire to free ourselves from the pain of wanting.” ― Nir Eyal   Here’s this week's question: I know I "should" turn off my technology and all that when I’m in the writing cave but every few minutes or so I slip and go online and start surfing social media. I don’t even know why and sometimes don’t even realize I’m doing it until a few minutes in. I’ve tried to go cold turkey and do social media fasts and stuff like that but none of it seems to work. Trust me when I say I AM committed to writing my book, I have a strong why and all that, but I just have this really bad habit and it keeps getting in the way of my writing caves. What do I do???   What about you? What questions do you have for me about writing and finishing writing an awesome book?
