#79 - how to get over your fear of posting content

In this episode of the Deadly Sins podcast, Tayla Bubeck discusses the challenges of sharing personal opinions on social media and the fear of being judged. She reflects on her journey from feeling insecure about posting content to embracing her voice and authenticity. Tayla emphasizes the importance of caring about the messages we share and how this can lead to greater influence and connection with others. She encourages listeners to overcome their fears and insecurities, highlighting that it's okay to feel scared but essential to give a shit about what we share online. Takeaways I started off feeling really scared about people in my hometown. I wanted to be free to be whoever I wanted to be online. I just think that I give a shit about the things that I want to talk about. If they're judging you, it's because they judge themselves. You need to be unbothered by your own fears. Your reason for posting on social media is to spread your message. It should bring you to tears about why you started posting content. You give more shits, you give more grace, more empathy. The deadliest sin is not maximizing our influence. It's cool to care.
