Episode 357 – Go Ahead and Hate Me Debut
In this episode, we debut another song from the dark album “Name of the Black.” There are times when you feel cast out. This came from such a time. I was persona non-grata among those who should have loved me. But we don’t control others’ thoughts or behaviors. We only control our own. This song reflects the despair when you lose support from loved ones. You end up feeling like, “What’s the use?” At those times, it was really attractive to return to depression and perhaps even destructive behaviors. Fortunately, through the grace of God and the support of my wife, I was able to understand that each person is on their own path and they, like me, must come to healing in their own time.
