It Grows Over Time, #522
In this episode, we talk about the development of integrity as a part of your character. Every year that a tree grows, it creates a growth being. In lean years where there is little water, the growth ring is thinner and in good years, the ring is thicker. The rings show evidence of fire, pests, and other problems. Integrity in our souls is the same. There are marks left on who we are by the things that happen around us. We decide how those marks affect us. If you only act with integrity when it is convenient, then you have little strength and stability for the tough times. If you act consistently with integrity then your power is great and your stability is high when the winds and struggles of life step in to test you.
