316: From Kickstarter To YouTube With Will From TantrumHouse This week we are joined by Will Meadows from TantrumHouse. Will talks about his failed first go at Kickstarter, his love for gaming, and how he took his passion and now has a team running a SUPER active gaming community on the TantrumHouse YouTube channel. About Will: Will is a freelance graphic designer and entrepreneur who spends too much time playing board games. He got his start in the tabletop industry after he and a friend Kickstarted a game they had designed together. (They failed their first attempt but, after some marketing and media creation, were successful in their second go 'round). Their love of gaming and introducing new folks to the hobby, as well as their dedication to producing content over the last 5 years, have garnered them around 35k subscribers on YouTube. They are active on several other social platforms as well, produce a bi-monthly podcast, and host an annual board game convention in Charlotte, NC. With kids and growing families, it's tough to maintain the balance sometimes, but fortunately, boarding gaming is a family affair.
