Mojaloop is an open-source project that provides the rails for interoperable digital payments between financial institutions, including banks and mobile phone companies. Particularly, in Africa and other parts of the world, where most people transact business in cash or typically use low-cost Android phones in multiple currencies and countries. It's an early, yet highly promising approach to financial inclusion.
